Vine clips are used to support the branches of your plant. They hinge open and are made to clamp around the branch, and also around clip string. I always attach chicken wire to the ceiling to attach the sting to. I honestly believe that tying up the branches of your plant can more than double your yield.

I remember back in the day I and most others would tie down the branches. In theory you open up the canopy so that more light can break through. Think of it like this. As a plant it want to grow up towards the light. When you pull it down the plant uses energy to try and resist the downward thrust. This waste energy that the flowering plant could other wise use producing that lovely flower we all do what we do for.

To create a zero stress environment you let your plant focus more of her energy on producing flowers.
